If you are talking about a company, the translation ‘Board of Directors’ is correct. You could also say management board or corporate board (which is US English).
‘Vorstand’ can also be ‘council’ as in ‘church council’ (Kirchenvorstand) or ‘party executive’, as in a political party (Parteivorstand). The ‘Vereinsvorstand’ is referred to as the ‘committee’.
